Brent Alanson LaCour

On September 1, 2025, at the age of 55, Brent Alanson LaCour of New Roads, Louisiana, departed his earthly home surrounded by his loved ones after a lengthy illness.

Brent was born July 18, 1970. He lived a full life and was well-known throughout New Roads. Brent graduated from Rosenwald High School in 1989. He enjoyed sports, hanging out with his friends, and having a good time. Brent’s loved ones considered him the life of the party.

Brent is survived by his children and grandchildren, sisters, brother, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, godchildren, and grandmother.

Brent was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Dukes LaCour, his father, stepfather, his grandparents, Albert Harry Dukes, Sr., and Forestine Thomas Dukes, and uncle, Wayne Dukes.
