Cheryl Ann Cushionberry was born on April 26, 1963, to the late Eloise Porche Chushionberry and the late Norman Cushionberry. She earned her wings on Saturday, August 2, 2025.
Cheryl Was known for her loving helping hands. Whenever you need help Cheryl would be there with a smile/ she loved taking other people’s children as her own. She enjoyed cooking and partying with family and friends. She was the life of the party. She had a special love for football and was a huge fan of the Southern University Jaguars as well as the New Orleans Saints. Cheryl had a saying “if I don’t get well I have had my fun, and the world don’t owe me anything”. Most of all she had a big heart filled with love for family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her most loving memories: her second Mother Thelma W. Porche, sisters Evelyn Cushionberry, Sheila (Charles) Bridgewater, One loving brother Carl (Trina) Cushionberry , God Father Bernard Joseph, God Mother Cleta Gauthier, Aunts Ruby Bradley, Sheila and Vivian Cushionberry, God children Roderick Boyd, Neice Anastashia Brue (Lonnie) Nephews Thomas (Keshia) Bridgewater, Stephen Bridgewater, Grand Nieces Kyra, Linzi, Leia and, Legaci. Grand Nephews Carson and Lonnie. Rosalyn Christophe who she took on as a daughter. Ericia Houston who she took on as a loving niece, the ride/die gang Melanie, Kendra, Monica, and Claudia.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eloise Porche and Norman Cushionberry, her second Father Edward Porche, Grand Mothers Ophelia Porche and Octavia Cushionberry, Grand Fathers Clifford Porche and Aaron Cushionberry, four Aunts and five Uncles.
