Constadine Sherwin Springer

Constadine “Connie” Springer, also known as “The Mack,” was born February 15, 1969
to the union of Lynn “Pat” Springer and Michael Springer, Sr. in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He accepted Christ at an early age and on March 19, 2025, he entered peacefully into
the loving arms of God at the age of 56.
Connie spent his early years in the Port Allen area and later in Scotlandville where he
attended school in the East Baton Rouge Public School System. He went on to pursue
several different career paths until becoming the owner of his own Plumbing Business.
He was loved by everyone he met and truly enjoyed life to the fullest.
He leaves to cherish his memories: A loving wife, Shawander Carter-Springer; His
devoted mother, Lynn “Pat” Springer-Mearidy; One daughter, Constance Springer; Six
sons, Kendrick Collins, Nathaniel Collins, Tariq Springer (Teasia), Corey Turner,
Thomas Turner, & Showin Porter; One Stepdaughter, D’Shay Carter; Eight
Grandchildren, Brooklyn Williams, Brandon “Deuce” Williams, Jr., Khaliya Turner, Corey
Turner, Jr., Amina Turner, Taylor Turner, Gaberille Carter, & Carley Brumfield; One
sister, Lartisa “Tisha” Hollie (Victor); Two Brothers, Michael Springer, Jr. (Sherry) &
Antonio Springer (Lisa); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and
friends, including his children’s mothers Lygia Collins & Taryn “Tee” Turner.
Connie is preceded in death by his father, Michael Springer, Sr., son, Jonathan Collins,
Paternal Grandmother, Myrtis Bowie, Maternal Parents, Judge &Julia Gibson, Dorothy
Jackson, George & Albertha Mitchell, aunt Ethel Lee Beraud, and uncle, Considine
Williams.
