Da'Vante Elijah Ross

Da’vante Elijah Ross was born on March 25, 1997 in Baton Rouge, LA to Evette Green and Lester Ross, Sr. As a youth, Da’vante attended Charity Christian Center Church, under the leadership of the late Bishop Don L. Bradford. He departed this life on November 5, 2022 in Baton Rouge, LA.

Da’vante had a strong passion for skateboarding and enjoyed reading as well as spending time with family and friends. He had most recently enrolled in trade school to obtain his Welding certificate. He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Evette Green of Baton Rouge, LA; father, Lester Ross, Sr. of Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Brittany Green of Baton Rouge, LA; brothers, V’erdre Green of Ogunquit, ME, Rahkiem McCoy of Fort Worth, TX, Lester Ross, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Dontrel Ross of Baton Rouge, LA, three nieces, one nephew and a host of aunts, uncles, cous-ins, and friends. He also leaves to cherish his memory a special friend, Christina Williams. Da’vante was preceded in death by grandmothers, Stella Vaughn and Betty Ross-Johnson; grandfather, Leslie Burns; great-grandmother, Felmon Ross; great- grandfather, Leman Ross; aunt, Valerie Green; uncle, Arthur Burns; and great-uncle, Lionel Ross.
