Mrs. Doretha Pleasant Wade, age 81, born June 18, 1940 in Goudeau, La entered eternal rest on January 18, 2022.
Doretha was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery Wade, III, grandchildren Ashlynn J. Wade, Byron O’nes Juneau, II. David A. Wells, Jr., great-grandchild Kyra O’nae Juneau. Parents Thurman and Nellie Pleasant, sisters – Thelma, Josephine, Rosetta, Jessie Lee and Virginia, brothers – A. D., Preston, Cephas, Thurman Jr. Her memories will remain in the hearts and minds of all that loved and knew her. Public Viewing for Mrs. Doretha P. Wade will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, 10 AM Until. Funeral services at 12 noon at Christian Missionary Baptist Church, 509 N. E. Main Street, Bunkie, La, Pastor Earl Williams officiating.
