Evelyn Carter Obituary

Evelyn Scott Carter was born October 29, 1932, to the late Gladys James and Willie Scott in Baton Rouge, La. She attended Scott Street School. She married Spencer Carter, Sr., at an early age. During that union, there were five children born. Charles Carter, Marie Carter Turner, Patricia Carter, Spencer Carter, Jr., and Edward Carter. She was baptized in May 2006 by Revered James Jackson and became a Calvary Missionary Baptist Church member in Baton Rouge, LA.

In her passing, she leaves to mourn Marie C. Turner, Spencer Carter, Jr. (Victoria), and Edward Cater: fifteen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Proceeding In death Is her husband Spencer Carter, Sr., son Charles Carter, daughter Patricia Carter, mother Gladys James, father Willie Scott, and son In law James Turner.
