Gabriel Matthew Martin was born December 9, 1953, to late August Samuel Martin, Sr. and Mary Josephine Batiste Martin in Tolbert, LA.
Gabriel dedicated his life to transportation from being a lifelong truck driver to a beloved bus driver. He brought a smile to the face of all who travelled with him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children William L. Cage (Houston, TX), Gwendolyn Matin (Baton Rouge, LA.), Matthew Gibson (Baton Rouge, LA.), Shannon M. Freeman (Baton Rouge, LA.), 12 grandchildren Kayla, Justin, Krystal, Jelesa, Kelsey, Keyanna, Wayne, Kentrell, Travis, Liam, William Jr., Carolyn and 4 great grandchildren. God-Children Aletha Denise Zeno, Debbie Martin, Barbra Scott. Close friends Marlon Thomas, Andrea Hamilton, and Charles Brown, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
