Jana Denise Clark-Nero was born on Dec. 31, 1958, to the Union of Horlis L. Clark and Lizzie Lee Clark, she
was a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Jana was a graduate of Scotlandville High School Class
of 1976, as well as a graduate of Southern University and Louisiana State University, and a member of Alpha
Kappa Alpha Sorority. Jana came to know Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev, J.G.
Richardson of Jordan Stone B.C on June 21, 1970. Jana last attended Greater King David B.C, under
the leadership of Pastor John Montgomery of Baton Rouge, LA.
Always being focused and career driven, Jana received numerous certificates while employed at EXXON
Mobile Refinery.
Jana Denise Clark-Nero is remembered by her cousin Pastor Tyrone (Ronnie) E. Lee (Evie S. Lee), her
loving god-daughter Latrice Lee, along with Domonie Jr (DJ), De’Myria, Jer’Mya, Kar’Mya, Genard
Jr.(Gouda), Ty’Rhen, Camari, and Camden.) and special family and friends, William (Tanka) Bigbee (Linda
Bigbee), Royce D. Johnson, and Reginald J. Johnson
Jana is predeceased by her parents Horlis L. Clark and Lizzie Lee Clark, Lloyd Nero (husband), and loving god-
daughter Ty’Quencia Lee.
