John Alvin Fields affectionately known as Albe was born on May 29, 1966, to the union of John Alvin Kinchen and Jaslyn L. Fields. He was released from this earthly place on March 31, 2023, at the tender age of 56.
Albe was educated in EBRP school system and received his G.E.D via St. Agnes Catholic Church. He worked in the paint and body repair industry alongside his dad, uncle, and other family members as well as for various shops.
Albe was also an artist. As a youngster, he was an avid comic book collector. You could often find him debating with his best friend Charles Dillard on who had the best books. From there he found a passion to craft and draw. If you ever received one of his sketches the attention to detail and creativity would definitely catch you by surprise. He loved creating and designing his version of original eccentric art that portrayed characters and figures beyond the imagination.
Albe loved his family no matter who you were. He would offer up a BIG hug and smile. He was sure to make his way to all gatherings collecting his food, drinks and conversing with everyone. He enjoyed playing with the smaller kids, some of them even called him PaPa.
Cherishing Albe’s memory is his mother, Jaslyn, siblings, Paulette (Lyndon) Fontenot, Yolanda, Shannon, Albertine Kinchen, Terrell (Keysha) Kinchen, and Crystal (Ken) Maloid, Aunts, Cassie Hall, Bobbie Hall (Murphy), Linda Gray uncle, Jessie Kinchen (Diane) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Albe was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Leola Scott Wells, Joseph Sr. and Thelma Taylor Kinchen, aunt, Ruby Kinchen, uncle, Joseph Kinchen Jr. cousins Otis Deon and Veronica Kinchen, Melanie Gray, Angus (Lil Joe) Dougherty, and nephew Travis T.J. Wilson.
