Born in Liberty, MS. Went to be with the Lord surrounded by his family Sunday April 27, 2025. Frank retired from EBR Schoolboard. He served as Assistant Pastor of Canaan Missionary Ministry B.R. Rev. Samuel Alsander.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 75 years Elizabeth J. McKnight, 2 sons Bobby (Gracie) McKnight of Baton Rouge, LA. Frank (Annie)McKnight Jr. of Geismar, LA. 1 daughter Marie (Charles) Powell of Baker, LA. 1 sister Fannie Carter of Chicago, IL. 1 sister-in-law Myrtis Williams whom he reared as a daughter. 1 daughter-in-law Lucille McKnight of Zachary, LA. 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents Ella Hills, Henry McKnight, and Emma McKnight, 4 sisters, 6 brothers, 2 sons, Leroy and John L. McKnight, 1 grandchild and 1 great-grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 2nd from 5pm-7pm at Canaan Missionary Ministry, Baton Rouge, LA. Saturday May 3rd at Greater New Hope B.C. Zachary, LA. From 9am til 11am Service. Burial will follow Service at Southern Memorial Gardens, Baton Rouge, LA.
