Teresa Michelle (Ms.Teedy) Thomas

Lil' Teresa M. Thomas "Jr" affectionately known as "Ms. Teedy" was born December 25,1992 in Baton Rouge, LA to the parents of William Sr. and Teresa Horton. As her birthday being on December 25 this was always a very special day for her. 

Teresa accepted Christ by the age of 12 and was baptized at McKowen Baptist Church by Dr. Gerard A Robinson Sr. After becoming a active member of McKowen Baptist Church Teresa joined the youth choir, the young adult usher board and most recent until her illness she was an active in the Greeters ministry, where she would always greet you with assistance and a smile. 

Teresa had a love of working with kids, as she was employed at Hosanna Christian Academy where she was excited each day to see her group of kids. Teresa always loved spending time with her mother and loved movie night with her dad. 

Teresa graduated from Istrouma High School Class of 2012 and was a class Valedictorian which made her parents proud. 

Teresa departed this life on Wednesday September 13, 2023 at Oschners Hospital . Teresa leaves to cherish her memories her loving parents, Williams and Teresa Horton, one brother William Jr. (Shandryka), 3 nephews, 1 niece, godbrother Koy Scott. She also leaves a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. 

Teresa was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
